High-Pressure Gas Quenching Furnace - VCQ Series | China Suppliers & Factory for Precision Heat Treatment

The VCQ series vacuum high pressure gas quenching furnace represents cutting-edge heat treatment technology, expertly crafted in China for high-end applications. This advanced equipment integrates a vacuum environment with high pressure gas rapid cooling capabilities, making it ideal for achieving high hardness and precision in metal workpieces without the risk of oxidation during quenching. By uniformly heating components in a vacuum, the furnace utilizes high pressure inert gases like nitrogen or argon for rapid and even cooling. This method effectively prevents deformation and surface carbonization commonly associated with traditional oil quenching processes, significantly enhancing material hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. The VCQ series is highly regarded among suppliers and manufacturers for its efficiency in treating aerospace engine parts, precision molds, high-speed steel tools, medical devices, and high-end alloy structural components. It is especially crucial for applications involving titanium alloys, superalloys, and die steels, where stringent cooling rates and superior surface quality are paramount. As a key asset for any factory looking to improve the overall performance of complex workpieces, the VCQ series furnace is indispensable for achieving optimal results in heat treatment processes.

    Characteristic 01

The workpiece can be heated under different vacuum (10-2~10-6 mbar) to avoid surface oxidation and decarbonization and ensure the purity and finish of the material.

Multi-zone independent temperature control, combined with PID algorithm, to achieve ±5℃ furnace temperature uniformity, with good temperature control accuracy.

Through different cooling inert gas (nitrogen, argon) and under different cooling pressure, combined with high-speed, large flow fan to quickly cool the workpiece, cooling speed is controllable.

Can choose the cooling gas flow direction and air flow reversal time, combined with high efficiency heat exchanger, significantly improve the cooling uniformity, reduce the thermal stress deformation of parts.

The heating chamber is made of graphite composite material or all-metal structure (such as molybdenum heating elements and metal heat insulation screen), which is resistant to high temperature and high pressure airflow and has long service life.

Different shapes of heating chamber can be selected to support square structure or round structure.

Choose a flexible opening method of the furnace door according to the customer's on-site requirements (such as the door position left and right direction, automatic or manual opening).

Integrated PLC, with program controller or computer interface, touch screen, recorder and other real-time monitoring furnace vacuum degree, temperature, pressure and other data, support remote fault diagnosis and process tracing.

    Frequently Asked Questions
What vacuum levels can the VCQ series vacuum furnace achieve?
The VCQ series supports heating under different vacuum levels, ranging from 10-2 to 10-6 mbar (optional). This prevents surface oxidation and decarbonization, ensuring the purity and finish of the processed materials.
What heating chamber structures and materials are available?
We offer square or round structures. For materials, you can choose between high-durability graphite composite structures or all-metal structures (featuring molybdenum heating elements and metal heat insulation screens) to withstand high temperatures and high pressure airflow.
How does the cooling system work and what gas media are used?
The system uses inert gases like Nitrogen or Argon under cooling pressures ranging from 0.87 to 10 bar (abs). Combined with a high-speed, large-flow fan and highly efficient heat exchanger, the cooling rate is fully controllable and uniform to prevent thermal stress deformation.
What are the maximum and normal operating temperatures for these furnaces?
The maximum temperature is 1350℃, while the normal operating temperature ranges from 150℃ to 1300℃ (optional), adjusting to different process requirements.
What is the temperature uniformity control precision?
The vacuum furnace achieves ±5℃ temperature uniformity inside the furnace chamber using multi-zone independent temperature control combined with an advanced PID control algorithm.
How is the furnace monitored and controlled?
It features an integrated PLC with a touch screen program controller. This allows real-time monitoring of critical parameters like vacuum level, temperature, and pressure. It also supports remote fault diagnosis and complete process tracing.
