High-Performance VCQ Vacuum High Pressure Gas Quenching Furnace | China Suppliers & Factory Solutions

The VCQ series vacuum high pressure gas quenching furnace is a premier heat treatment solution designed for high-end applications in China. This advanced equipment combines a vacuum environment with high pressure gas rapid cooling technology, making it ideal for metal workpieces that require high hardness and precision without oxidation during the quenching process, By ensuring uniform heating in a vacuum, this furnace utilizes high pressure inert gases such as nitrogen or argon for rapid and even cooling. This method effectively prevents deformation and surface carbonization, which are common issues associated with traditional oil quenching techniques. As a result, the VCQ series enhances material hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability, This furnace is particularly beneficial for treating aerospace engine components, precision molds, high-speed steel tools, and medical equipment, as well as high-end alloy structural parts. It excels in fields requiring meticulous control over cooling rates and surface quality, especially for titanium alloys, superalloys, and die steel, As a trusted Factory among leading Suppliers in China, we provide the VCQ series as a core solution to enhance the comprehensive performance of complex workpieces, ensuring the highest standards in heat treatment technology

    Characteristic

The workpiece can be heated under different vacuum (10-2~10-6 mbar) to avoid surface oxidation and decarbonization and ensure the purity and finish of the material.

Multi-zone independent temperature control, combined with PID algorithm, to achieve ±5℃ furnace temperature uniformity, with good temperature control accuracy.

Through different cooling inert gas (nitrogen, argon) and under different cooling pressure, combined with high-speed, large flow fan to quickly cool the workpiece, cooling speed is controllable.

Can choose the cooling gas flow direction and air flow reversal time, combined with high efficiency heat exchanger, significantly improve the cooling uniformity, reduce the thermal stress deformation of parts.

The heating chamber is made of graphite composite material or all-metal structure (such as molybdenum heating elements and metal heat insulation screen), which is resistant to high temperature and high pressure airflow and has long service life.

Different shapes of heating chamber can be selected to support square structure or round structure.

Choose a flexible opening method of the furnace door according to the customer's on-site requirements (such as the door position left and right direction, automatic or manual opening).

Integrated PLC, with program controller or computer interface, touch screen, recorder and other real-time monitoring furnace vacuum degree, temperature, pressure and other data, support remote fault diagnosis and process tracing.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What vacuum levels can these gas quenching furnaces achieve?

The workpiece can be heated under different vacuum levels ranging from 10-1 to 10-6 mbar depending on your configuration requirements. This wide range prevents surface oxidation and decarbonization, ensuring high purity and a clean finish.

What types of heating chambers are available?

We offer square and round heating chamber structures. The insulation and heating elements can be configured with graphite composite materials or all-metal structures, such as molybdenum heating elements and metal heat insulation screens.

How is cooling uniformity achieved during the quenching process?

Cooling uniformity is optimized by using high-speed, large-flow fans with controllable cooling speeds, adjustable cooling gas flow directions, and customizable air flow reversal times. This system works under 0.87 to 10 bar of inert gas pressure (Nitrogen or Argon) combined with high-efficiency heat exchangers to reduce thermal stress deformation.

What is the temperature control accuracy and range of the furnace?

With multi-zone independent temperature control and advanced PID algorithms, the furnace achieves a temperature uniformity of ±5℃. The maximum design temperature is 1350℃, with a normal operating temperature range between 150℃ and 1300℃.

What control and monitoring systems are integrated into the equipment?

The equipment features an integrated PLC system with a touch screen interface, program controller, and data recorder. It enables real-time monitoring of furnace vacuum levels, temperature, and pressure while supporting remote fault diagnosis and complete process tracing.

What are the handling capacities of the different VCQ models?

The VCQ series offers handling capacities ranging from 50 kg (VCQ-50) up to 2000 kg (VCQ-2000) to meet different production scale requirements. Installed power scales accordingly from 80 KW to 450 KW.
